Sewing Instructions:
Step 1:
Layer a Color F (cream) 3-7/8" triangle on a Color A (red) 3-7/8"
triangle, right sides together. Stitch as shown below. Press the seam
allowance toward the darker fabric and trim points. Make 2. (Each unit
should measure 3-1/2".)

Step 2:
Layer a Color B (yellow) 3-7/8" triangle on a Color A (red) 3-7/8"
triangle, right sides together. Stitch as shown below. Press the seam
allowance toward the darker fabric and trim points. Make 1. (This
unit should measure 3-1/2".)

Step 3:
Layer a Color B (yellow) 3-7/8" triangle on a Color D (dk green)
3-7/8" triangle, right sides together. Stitch as shown below. Press
the seam allowance toward the darker fabric and trim points. Make 2.
(Each unit should measure 3-1/2".)

Step 4:
Layer a Color C (med green) 3-7/8" triangle on a Color E (brown) 3-7/8"
triangle, right sides together. Stitch as shown below. Press the seam
allowance toward the darker fabric and trim points. Make 2. (Each
unit should measure 3-1/2".)

Step 5:
Layer a Color C (med green) 6-7/8" triangle on a Color E (brown)
6-7/8" triangle, right sides together. Stitch as shown below. Press
the seam allowance toward the darker fabric and trim points. Make 1.
(This unit should measure 6-1/2".)

Step 6:
Stitch a Color E (brown) 6-7/8" triangle to one short side of a Color
F (cream) 7-1/4" triangle, as shown below. Press seam allowance toward
the darker fabric and trim point. Repeat on the opposite side using a
Color A (red) 6-7/8" triangle, as shown. Make 1. (This unit should
measure 3-1/2" x 6-1/2".)

Step 7:
Stitch a Color A (red) 6-7/8" triangle to one short side of a Color
F (cream) 7-1/4" triangle, as shown below. Press seam allowance toward
the darker
fabric and trim point. Repeat on the opposite side using a Color
E (brown) 6-7/8" triangle, as shown. Make 1. (This unit should
measure 3-1/2" x 6-1/2".)

Step 8:
Arrange one Step 1 units, one Step 2 unit, and a Color F (cream)
3-1/2" square, as shown below. Stitch together in rows, pressing the
top row seam allowance toward the Color F (cream) square and bottom row
seam allowance toward the Step 2 unit. Next, sew the two rows together
along one long side as shown. Press the seam allowance toward the top
row. Make 1.
(This unit should measure 6-1/2" x 6-1/2")

Step 9:
Arrange the Step 7 unit, one Step 3 unit, and one Step 4 unit as
shown below. Stitch the Step 3 and Step 4 units together as shown and
press the seam allowance to one side.
Next, stitch the Step 7 unit to the Step 3-4 unit as shown. Press the
seam allowance toward the Step 7 unit. Make 1. (This unit should
measure 6-1/2" x 6-1/2".)

Step 10:
Arrange the Step 6 unit, one Step 3 unit, and one Step 4 unit as
shown below. Stitch the Step 3 and Step 4 units together as shown and
press the seam allowance to
one side. Next, stitch the Step 6 unit to the Step 3-4 unit as shown.
Press the seam allowance toward the Step 6 unit. Make 1. (This unit
should measure 6-1/2" x 6-1/2".)

Step 11:
Arrange the Step 5, Step 8, Step 9, and Step 10 units, as shown
below. Stitch together in rows, then stitch rows together to finish
this section. Make 1. (This
unit should measure 12-1/2" x 12-1/2" inches.)

Step 12:
Stitch a Color E (brown) 3-7/8" triangle to one short side of a Color
F (cream) 3-1/2" x 9-1/2" rectangle. Press the seam allowances toward
the Color
F fabric.

Step 13:
Stitch the Step 12 unit to the bottom of the Step 11 unit. Press
seam allowance toward the Step 12 unit.

Step 14:
Stitch a Color E (brown) 3-7/8" triangle to one short side of a Color
F (cream) 3-1/2" x 9-1/2" rectangle. Press the seam allowances toward
the Color
F fabric.

Step 15:
Stitch the Step 14 unit to the right side of the Step 11 unit. Press
seam allowance toward the Step 14 unit.

Step 16:
Stitch a Color F (cream) 6-7/8" triangle unit to the lower right
corner of the Step 11 unit. Press seam allowance toward the Step 11
unit. Your Grape
Basket block should measure 15-1/2" square at this point.

Step 17:
Using the Color G assorted 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" rectangles, sew four rows
of four rectangles as shown below. Add a Color E (brown) 2-1/2" square
to each end of
the last two rows. Press the seam allowances to one side for the
2-1/2" x 4-1/4" rectanges. Press the Color E (brown) 2-1/2" square
seam allowances toward the rectangle to which it is attached.

Step 18:
Sew the two shorter Step 17 rows to the left and right side of the
block. Press the seam allowances away from the block.

Step 19:
Sew the remaining Step 17 rows to the top and bottom of the block.
Press the seam allowances away from the block.

Step 20:
Quilt and bind as desired. The cutting instructions did include
three 2-1/2" x width of fabric strips to use for straight binding.
