Sewing Instructions:
Step 1:
Using
the illustration below as a guide, arrange
the blocks as shown. Sew into
three rows using a 1/4" seam allowance. Press
the top and bottom row seam allowances toward the
center block. Press the middle row seam allowances
away from the center block.

Step 2:
Sew into three rows together using a 1/4" seam allowance. Press
the seam allowances away from the middle row.

Step
3:
With right sides together and using a 1/4" seam allowance, sew a
Color A (dark) 3-1/2" x 40-1/2" strip
to a 3-1/2" x 14-1/2" strip along one
short side. Press the seam allowance to one
side. Repeat once more for a total of two
3-1/2" x 54-1/2" Color A (dark) border
strips.
Step
4:
With right sides together and using a 1/4" seam allowance, sew a
Color A (dark) 3-1/2" x 40-1/2" strip
to a 3-1/2" x 20-1/2" strip along one
short side. Press the seam allowance to one
side. Repeat once more for a total of two
3-1/2" x 60-1/2" Color A (dark) border
strips.
Step
5:
With right sides together and using a 1/4" seam allowance, sew the
Step 3 border strips to the left and right side
of the quilt center as shown below. Press
the seam allowance toward the border.

Step
6:
With right sides together and using a 1/4" seam allowance, sew the
Step 4 border strips to the top and bottom of
the quilt center as shown below. Press the
seam allowance toward the border.

Step
7: Quilt
and bind as desired.
