EQ5 EXCHANGE

Electric Quilt 5 Quilt Design Software Project Files To Download

If you are a Electric Quilt 5 user, here are some block collections to add to your library.  Click on a title to download the collection.  Open the file in EQ5 to view and use.  If you save the blocks to a user library (by choosing "Add Blocks" from the "Library" menu),  the blocks will be available for use in any project.  If you have blocks or quilts that you have created in EQ5 and you would like to share them here, email me!

Hearts at Home - This is a fun little project that is paper-pieced.  There is a matching tablerunner pattern included in the EQ5 project file.  ::submitted by Kim Noblin::

Midnight Stars - I love stars!.  Here is one of my favorite star patterns set into an interesting grid design. ::submitted by Kim Noblin::

Katrina - Three states along the Gulf Coast will forever be remembered for the destruction and devastation left behind by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.  This EQ5 project file combines three quilt blocks named for those states:  Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.  ::submitted by Kim Noblin::

Stacking the Squares - This quilt design is created by rotating one simple block across the surface of the quilt.  It is a quick and easy project that can be pieced in a weekend.  I used batiks for my quilt and loved the results!   ::submitted by Kim Noblin::

Three in One - This EQ5 project file was submitted by Carola Forsberg from Sweden.  She provides three quilt settings for blocks of her own design, each one very different from the others.  A wonderful example of imaginative composition that is sure to inspire!  ::submitted by Carola Forsberg::

The Many Designs of Friendship - An EQ5 project file for our 2004 Block of the Month series, The Many Designs of Friendship.  ::submitted by Kim Noblin::

Starflower - I had lots of fun coming up with the setting for this block! ::submitted by Kim Noblin::

Nine Patch Stars - This is a design that I submitted for the ClubEQ December 2004 Challenge. ::submitted by Kim Noblin::

My Fan Quilt - An amazing design by Kathleen Potvin!  She has graciously provided the project file for EQ5 as well as her instructions for constructing the unusual fan design.  Click here to view her quilt.  You will find download links for the EQ5 project file and instructions under the quilt image.  ::submitted by Kathleen Potvin::

Barbara's Kitties - Nineteen of the cutest kitty blocks!  ::submitted by Barbara Dieckmann::

Traditional Collection 1 - Twelve traditional blocks that include Night and Noon, Mexican Rose, Grandmother's Pride, Star-Spangled Banner, and more.  You can view the blocks in this collection here.  ::submitted by Kim Noblin::
