Sewing Instructions:

Step 1:  Using a ruler and a water soluble marker, draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of all Fabric 6 (cream) 3-7/8" squares.

Step 2:  With right sides together, layer a Fabric 6 (cream) 3-7/8" square on a Fabric 1 (dark green) 3-7/8" square and sew a 1/4" seam on each side of the diagonal line that you drew in Step 1.  Repeat twenty-seven times more and cut apart on the diagonal lines. Press seams to darker fabric and trim points.  Fifty-six Fabric 6/Fabric 1 half-square triangles made.

Step 3:  Layer a Fabric 6 (cream) 3-7/8" square on a Fabric 2 (light green) 3-7/8" square.  Sew a 1/4" seam on each side of the diagonal line.  Repeat twenty-seven times more and cut apart on the diagonal line.  Press seams toward the darker fabric and trim points.  Fifty-six Fabric 6/Fabric 2 half-square triangles made.

Step 4:  Using the block above as your guide, place the half-square triangle units and squares in order for each block.  Using a scant 1/4" seam, stitch together to form rows and stitch the rows together to finish the block.  Make 14 blocks.
